First GTA IV mod ever

Even though GTA V is out, GTA IV remains my favourite of the Grand Theft Auto series. I finally got round to creating my first mod.

As you can see, it is a ramp jump mod. It starts on the Space Dock Station by Metalwars. You can drive through the Space Dock Station to get to the ramp.

Credit for the Space Dock Station goes to Metalwars. I created the ramp.

FSX Valentine's Day Special 2014

So today I created what was the first ever FSX Valentine's Day Special by flying my new repaint for the Vistaliners Boeing 727-200 Adv from Bermuda Intl, through the Bermuda Triangle, to San Juan Luis Muinoz Intl Airport, Puerto Rico.

I personally don't care much for Valentine's Day, being single and what not, but I'm sure you guys do, which is why I created the repaint and the video.

I believe you will need the Vistaliners Boeing 727-200 Adv for this.

Irresponsible Arseholes On The Road

Don't you just hate it when this happens? You're driving along, obeying the speed limit and some dickhead in a massive thundering great BMW sits right up your back end? This is dangerous and, if you have to stop quickly, the car behind will slam into the back of your car. The name of this technique is called "tailgating". People have done this to me many times while I'm driving to college or football practice or whatever. Today I was driving to college and was tailgated three times and once more on the way home. Have a guess what these drivers want. They want you to go faster or move over into another lane.

These morons are the same kind that exceed the speed limit. If you are being tailgated, you need to slow down to reduce the risk of being hit if you have to stop quickly. When it is safe to do so, move into another lane. The tailgater might try to get into that lane before you. If they do, there is no need to panic as the threat is averted.

Exceeding the speed limit is illegal and will get you three points on your licence if you live in the UK, like me. It is also highly dangerous, as by driving faster, you will have to spot your hazards earlier as you will have a longer stopping distance and less time to react and then...
BAM!!!! You've crashed.

To show these speed limit exceeding arseholes what they are in for, I created this video on YouTube using a soft body physics program on my computer called Rigs Of Rods. Here's the video:

And, if you wish to download Rigs Of Rods for yourself, here's a link to it:

My First Guanaja Landing in FSX

In my last three FSX videos on YouTube you've seen me flying higher than 21,000 feet in big pressurized jetliners, like this...

And this...
And even this.

But today I thought I'd fly something that is A LOT smaller, and piston-engined, as a pose to jet propelled.

The Cessna 172 Skyhawk, complete with a G1000 Glass Cockpit. I took off at Goloson Intl and flew for 39 minutes to a Honduran island called Guanaja (the airport ID is GJA). The runway looks almost like a tarmac pier, and is very hard to land on. It is almost like St Maarten, except that the runway is partially off-shore, and isn't compatible with huge jets.

It's time to reveal a secret. I fly IFR in FSX. This means that ATC tell me what altitude to climb/descend to and maintain and what heading to turn to. Landing at Guanaja is hard because there is no control tower so ATC cannot assist you with your descent. You're on your own once you've contacted GJA Traffic. The runway is hard to spot.

I flew a low approach and noticed the runway was off to my right so I turned right and then to turned left to line the plane up with the runway. I thought for a minute I'd missed the approach but saw how much runway was left when I got the plane down and knew I could stop safely, so I did.

Here's the video of the approach:

Angry Video Game Nerd Repaint in FSX

In my last blog, I described Tourettes Guy Repaint for the Boeing 747-400 in FSX. Now I have created a new Angry Video Game Nerd Repaint for the Boeing 737-800.

Here is my Boeing 737-800 in its Angry Video Game Nerd livery at the departure gate at Male Intl in the Maldives. This is the thumbnail that comes up in the aircraft selection menu in FSX. I created this new repaint because I thought the Angry Video Game Nerd deserves this sort of recognition, just like what I thought when I created my Tourettes Guy Repaint for my Boeing 747-400.

James Rolfe a.k.a. "Angry Video Game Nerd" (formerly Angry Nintendo Nerd) has been finding flaws with old video games consoles and games since 2004. I think some of his points are quite valid, like when he is reviewing the Sega CD and the Sega 32X and notes that they both have their own individual AC adapters as well as the Sega Genesis.

I'm sure we all agree it is crazy setting up a video game system which, in addition to its AC adapter, the hardware attached relies on its own AC adapter and you end up with three plugs for the game system, and you can't plug them in because your power strip's electrical sockets are lined up vertically so you can't plug in all three AC adapters because the transformers invade the free sockets.

And the fact that older games have labels on the side of the cartridge so you can choose which game without having to take the games out and see what label is on the front of the cartridge while the newer ones don't is just simply ridiculous too. I even agree with what he says about the Atari 5200 as well. To set it up, you have to plug the AC adapter and the RCA cable into some strange box and plug the Atari 5200 into that.

When you plug the Atari 5200 into that, it causes sparks.

So anyways, I took off at Hong Kong Intl, since Angry Video Game Nerd said he'd "rather fly a cargo plane full of rubber dog shit out of Hong Hong" in his review on Top Gun for the NES.

He never said where to though. Fortunately I thought he deserves a reward so I flew to the tropical paradise North East of Australia known as the Philippines.

Here's what the plane looked like at 10,000 feet.

Along the way, I was able to get a few more good shots using my computer's screen print key. Here's one with the Philippines in the distance ahead of the aircraft.

As you can see, on the vertical stabilizer, you can see Angry Video Game Nerd's opinion on the Atari 5200 with the controller above the text, since its lack of function is the reason it wasn't any good. Below the text is the Atari 5200, since it fits onto the aircraft's vertical stabilizer better and is reminiscent of when Angry Video Game Nerd looks over the Atari 5200 and shouts "BECAUSE IT'S A PILE OF FUCKING SHIT!!!!"

And, just for the record, here's a shot of the aircraft flying off the Philippine coast with a beautiful Philippine sunset in the background.

Later that evening, I landed the plane at Clark Intl.

Here's the video.

You can download the repaint for yourself. Here's the download link:

Once again, I didn't think Surclaro or FS-Freeware would approve of the swear words on the fuselage, so I uploaded it to 4shared.

Tourettes Guy repaint in FSX

Tourettes Guy was thought to have died in a car crash in 2007. Fortunately, that wasn't the case, as he has released a new video.
Since 2004, Tourettes Guy has caused laughter on YouTube. One catchphrase which many Tourettes Guy fans would find most memorable would have to be "Oh Bob Saget!!". First, he says this when he is trying to drink a beer and talk on his mobile phone and drops his beer. Then he miscues when playing pool and yells it out really loud. Then he says it when he is mowing the lawn and he keeps encountering swarms of killer bees and runs to the back door of his house cussing and swearing. His YouTube videos have got millions of views and every person who uploads some YouTube videos of him gets many subscribers.

I thought it would be a good idea to create a Tourettes Guy repaint for the Boeing 747-400 in FSX, since nobody has done so.
Here is the aircraft flying from North Dakota to Columbus, Ohio. I chose to fly it to Port Columbus Intl in Columbus, Ohio, since when Tourettes Guy got a divorce in the year 1999, he relocated to Columbus, Ohio. Because he used to live in Bismarck, North Dakota, I originally intended to fly from Bismarck Municipal Airport to Port Columbus Intl, but the Boeing 747-400 wouldn't take off on their short runway so I decided to take off at Minot AFB. It was a long flight and it was completely dark when I landed at Port Columbus Intl. Here is a video of the takeoff, a few scenes of the flight and the landing. It contains some strong language.

Also, if you'd like to download this profane plane for yourself, here's a link to 4shared:
I uploaded it to 4shared because I didn't think any Flight Simulator Addon site, like Surclaro or FS-Freeware, would approve of it.
